Why We Don’t Sell Our 3D Files (And What We Offer Instead)

We get this question a lot: “Do you sell your STL files?” And while we totally understand the appeal, especially for fellow makers, we’ve made the decision not to sell our 3D print files.

Here’s why:

🧠 It’s About the Experience, Not Just the File

We spend a lot of time dialing in the designs, testing materials, and making adjustments so your final product comes out just right. Without our print settings, material selection, and testing, a raw file might not meet the quality we expect from our shop.

💡 The Design Process is Only Part of the Puzzle

Each product goes through multiple rounds of prototyping and testing. We tweak angles, infills, and tiny design details that aren’t always obvious in a file preview. Selling the file skips all of that behind-the-scenes work that makes the product what it is.

🔒 Protecting Our Brand and Our Time

We love sharing our creativity, but we also run a small business. Selling our files would mean losing control over how our designs are presented and printed, which impacts the experience our customers expect. It also opens the door to knock-offs or misuse of our ideas, and that’s just not part of the vibe we’re building here.
